Welcome to Aussie Strategy.

I am a 26 year old Australian who lives in the outer suburbs of Melbourne with my girlfriend.

I work a pretty standard desk jockey gig for a retail company.

My partner is a teacher at the local primary school.

Ever since I was young I have been interested in investing and passive income.

It all started with selling lemons out the front of my house as a young boy.

I would put the lemons out at the start of the day and when I came home from school there would be a few bucks in the jar!

From that point onwards I have been really interested in passive income and designing a lifestyle that suits me.

So that is what this blog is going to explore?

Not conventional FIRE but Financial Independence Rethink Early.

What does the “Rethink Early” part mean?

-It means being able to decide to cut down to 4 days a week at work and follow a hobby

-It means being able to go on a 2 month holiday to get out of the freezing Melbourne winter!

-It means continuing to work full time because you love your job but having a back up plan!

-It means designing a lifestyle that suits you and your life goals!
